Mohsen Esfahanizadeh

Mohsen is a pre-doctoral researcher within the DELaw project.

He holds a BEng in Civil Engineering from Shahid Beheshti University and a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Tehran (Iran), focusing on solid waste management. Inspired by his values and interests, he envisions degrowth as a step toward building a society where respect for the Earth and the quest for equality unite all people.

His professional background includes experience as an environmental specialist, particularly in the development of environmental regulations and the application of life cycle assessment (LCA) to products and waste management. Within DELaw, Mohsen will apply LCA to assess the environmental and social impacts of the battery value chain to provide the necessary information for establishing a legal framework.
