Aretina Stefani

Aretina is a pre-doctoral researcher within the DELaw project.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Queen Mary University of London and a Master’s degree in Energy and Climate Law from the University of Groningen.

Her research interests centre on renewable energy law and policy in EU and international contexts, with a particular focus on (gender)just energy transitions and degrowth-oriented approaches to energy governance, as necessary responses to intersecting social and ecological crises.

Within DELaw, Aretina will cover the jurisdictions of Germany and the Czech Republic.

She speaks Greek, English, and German.
