On the 19th of September 2025, Dr. Mauger participated online to the workshop entitled: "A Research Agenda for Energy Commons Law".
This workshop organised by Prof Björn Hoops gathered dozens of academics to reflect on the legal frameworks pertaining to energy commons (or the measures which should be implemented to facilitate their creation and management).
On this occasion, Romain Mauger was invited to deliver a keynote presentation on "Energy Commons & Degrowth". It was the occasion to stress the links between degrowth and the commons in general and more specifically between degrowth and energy communities.
